Namaste and Greetings,
As president of the Association of Indians in America, NJ chapter, I am proud to announce our community outreach in helping with COVID 19 pandemic. First of all I would like to thank those who donated generously in cash and or masks/gloves, grocery, and food for the cause. Without your kind help, cooperation, and team work this is not possible. We still have a long way to go and with your encouragement, help, affection and care I am sure we can do it. Ways we are helping:
1.We are supplying grocery and packaged snack packs to the soup kitchens.
2. We are collaborating with the Hindu Temple ( Sri Krishna Guruvayoorappan ) in Manalapan NJ and Mr. Nitin Vyas of World Vegan Vision to provide packaged food to the front line workers at the hospitals.St Peter’s in New Brunswick, RWJ hospital in New Brunswick and Meridian in Old Bridge
3. We are collaborating with Nitin Vyas of World Vegan Vision to collect rice from merchants that are donating towards COVID 19.
4. We are providing masks and gloves to the long term care centers that have been affected by the virus. Towards this we are collaborating with The Rutgers University Asian Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (RCMAR) and Care2Caregivers group. We will also be providing meals to them. I am attaching some pictures to share with you. We have masks on so it may be difficult to identify the faces behind the mask. Ram Tirumala, Nitin Vyas and I are there in the pictures.
Thank you again and please do donate generously in kind, in cash or any way you can to help us continue our work to help those who help us be safe. Take care, and be safe, eat healthy, do exercise and build your immunity with wholesome nutritious food.

Our friends ( Founders) Tapas and Sondra’s daughter and Son-in-law are also doctors in NYC.
This includes all of you, my brother (Rtd.), sister-in-law (Rey.), Niece, (CT) and daughter-in-law (NJ). There are so many experts in responsible positions commenting daily on national television news. It makes us proud of the inspiring work so many people are doing.
With our love to all who are making the original AIA Vision being realized.
